Frothy cups of coffee, buttery popcorn, sticky candy, fruity smoothies, late dinners.
Colorful theme parks, peaceful forests, comfy beds, rocky mountains, boring classrooms.
On bent knees, in jubilant jumps, under extreme pressure, amid pouring rain, over vast valleys.
Torrents of tears, miles of adventures, hundreds of letters, heaps of advice, stores of prayers.

Fellowship must have been a favorite of God’s to create. Like a movie writer, God designs stories and then watches them unfold before Him. Like a great author, the Lord develops intricate details in all the characters, and writes in such a way that they communicate, bond, and establish relationships. Like the Almighty, all-powerful, divine King of kings that He is, God desires that the relationships He gives us find their foundation on and center around Him and His fellowship with us.
This is why I barely have words to say how blessed I am by my friends. Our relationships with each other revolve around Jesus. In fact, it’s very rare (quite possibly it’s never happened) that we are together and don’t talk about Jesus and our walk with Him. All of us are so head-over-heals for our Savior, that spending time focused on anything but what God is doing in our lives, is just dull.
My friends and I, we’ve experienced real life. Dwelling in our hearts is the God of the Universe, and He’s done radical, extraordinary things in our short eighteen years. So when we come together in fellowship, we cannot help but rejoice in that.
To us, coffee houses aren’t for catching up, they’re for intentional conversations about the hard lessons and the deep pains.
Restaurants exist to be places where we celebrate how Jesus is moving in our lives, restoring us and pursuing us.
Side conversations at school are spoken with the deep understanding of years of friendship–a few words hold enough power to change a day.
Adventures and explorations through the woods, hours upon hours spent hammocking is a time when Jesus walks with us, His input is in our conversations. His power to heal, break, encourage, sympathize is wielded in the words we speak to each other. We thumb through His physical Word, eager to speak truth and life into each other.

Fellowship for me is incredibly beautiful. God speaks loudly and clearly through my best friends. He knows that they are a top priority in my life, that they hold massive influence over me because He created our relationship for that mutual purpose.
It blows my mind and proves to me that Jesus really knows me and loves me so well that he makes certain that one way I recognize this is through fellowship with my friends. He uses them to speak truth into my life through shared experiences, passions, and eternities. God knows me so well, He’s given me the privilege of having a dozen sisters who seek to love and cherish me in the small and huge ways that matter. What’s more is that God knows me so well, He’s given me the privilege of having a dozen sisters to seek to love and cherish in the big and huge ways that matter.
The relationship Jesus has developed between my closest friends and myself continues to astound me. The fact that we are so close inseparable, builds on my desire to continue to glorify Him with our friendship. His beauty, perfection, glory and love manifested in our fellowship bless me beyond belief everyday.
